Meet the Authors
Blake Shook
Blake started beekeeping at age twelve and, over 20-plus years, has grown a childhood hobby into one of the largest bee operations in the US with 30,000 hives. He also manages several companies in and outside beekeeping, stays active in national associations, and has spent thousands of hours in the bee yard—facing every issue in this book and sharing that knowledge whenever he can.
Kamon Reynolds
Kamon is the founder of the North American Honey Bee Expo, one of the largest beekeeping expositions in the world. He raises queens, makes splits, and teaches beekeeping through events across North America and his YouTube channel. He and his wife, Laurel, manage 500 hives, as he provides practical, experience-based guidance to beekeepers at all levels.
