Before Premier Bee Products was incorporated, our team set out on a journey to build a better foundation for the bees.
Several years later, Premier foundation (now called Puracell™ foundation) was launched, providing bees with a healthier, more productive base to draw comb.
Thousands of beekeepers have benefited from Puracell foundation since then. Today, we now serve beekeepers with frames and hive bodies.
Through the rapid growth, our core philosophy has never waivered: Do good to bees, and they’ll do good to you.

Jeff Johnson’s role is all-encompassing, heading up the leadership team for Premier Bee. Formerly a CEO and business owner, Jeff is our lead on all product innovation and sales. Jeff resides with his family (and dogs) in Sioux Falls, SD.

Mark Heiden’s deep background in engineering has directed the manufacturing process for all products at Premier Bee. After moving throughout the Midwest for his career, Mark has settled down with his wife in Sioux Falls, SD.
