Our Top 5 Highlights From NAHBE 2026

We kicked off 2026 the best way we know how—with thousands of beekeepers at the North American Honey Bee Expo in Louisville, Kentucky.
What a jam-packed, hopping few days!!

Our voices are still a little hoarse from all of the awesome conversations with beekeepers...

Here is a look at our favorite highlights.

#5. The Star of the Show: The Propola Wall

If you walked past our booth, you definitely noticed the Propola Wall. It wasn’t just a backdrop; it was a conversation starter and a massive photo opportunity.

FUN FACT: Did you know that this was the single largest wall of Propola boxes found anywhere in the world? 😉

We designed the wall to give you an up-close look at the science behind our Propola boxes.

It showcased the roughened surfaces of our Propola boxes, which are engineered to mimic the inside of a natural tree cavity. This texture encourages bees to deposit a propolis envelope, creating a social immune system for the hive that boosts overall colony health.

To bring this concept to life, we even displayed a real tree section with actual propolis deposits in it, helping visualize exactly how nature intends bees to live.

#4. We Captured Content!

Keep watch in the coming days and weeks... we had the cameras rolling and the tripods moving all weekend.

We did interviews, had conversations, shared education, and more... all geared toward bringing true value (and a little bit of entertainment) to our beekeeping friends.

Again, STAY TUNED!

#3. Delivering Truckloads of Product

It wasn't just about talking shop; we were there to work, too!

It was incredibly satisfying to see truckloads of Premier Bee Products arriving and making their way into the hands of beekeepers.

We handed off a massive amount of pre-orders directly at the convention center (free shipping and wonderful deals... are you sure you don't want to attend in 2027??)

Seeing our boxes loaded up and knowing they are heading to apiaries across the country to support healthy colonies is exactly why we do what we do.

#2. Our Capping Wax Giveaway

We have to talk about that giant block of wax!

It seemed like no one could walk by without touching it. We heard, "Wow, that's one nice block of wax," more times than we can count.

We had hundreds of wonderful entries for the giveaway, but only one could emerge victorious.

Congratulations to Donna S. — our winner from Missouri!

Donna is officially the owner of a block of the best capping wax found anywhere. Thank you to everyone who entered and stopped by to admire it (and enter)!

#1. Old Friends and New Connections

The highlight of the entire expo wasn't the sales or the displays—it was the people.

The beekeeping community is truly incredible. The best part of our trip was meeting new friends, shaking hands with customers we’ve only known via email, and connecting with all of you face-to-face. Your passion for bees is contagious, and it fuels our innovation.

A big shoutout to Kamon Reynolds and his team for all the hard work that went into pulling NAHBE together.  They work their butts off and they deserve the credit they get for this event.

It's almost like a family reunion each year.
Whether we saw you or not this year, WE WILL SEE YOU IN 2027! 😎
Back to catching up on everything that happened back in South Dakota while we were out!
